Taeku Lee, Ph.D.
Director of AAPI Research
Director of Asian American and Pacific Islander Research for BSP, Dr. Lee is also tenured Professor in the Department of Government at Harvard University and has published numerous books and dozens of social science articles on Asian American public opinion and voting behavior. Recognized the leading researcher of AAPI survey data, Dr. Lee brings more than two decades of experience running his own multi-lingual survey research in the AAPI community. In 2008 Dr. Lee was lead pollster of the National Asian American Survey (NAAS) which interviewed more than 8,000 AAPI voters nationwide and resulted in numerous books and research articles on this growing electorate. In his work with BSP Dr. Lee has overseen large battleground state polls of AAPI voters, including surveys offered in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Hindi.
